As the Founder and CEO of the Al Smith Jam Session, Al created what is now recognized as Atlanta’s longest running and most respected open mic jam. Since 1998, this weekly session has become a sanctuary for musicians of all levels—welcoming vocalists, instrumentalists, and celebrity guests into a space defined by creativity, community, and legacy.
